Fore River Technologies

Project summary 

This logo was selected for the final stage in an online branding contest, receiving positive and extensive feedback from the client. Fore River Technologies is a medical & pharmaceutical company. They help further refine medical device ideas from clinicians and get them commercialized. The target audience consists of nurses and doctors, while the visual style for the brand had to be geometric and modern.

It was required that the logo included the Fore River bridge somehow, as a reference to the engineering and technology advancements. The main idea was to represent the structure and functionality of the bridge through a device blueprint. The result is a geometric representation of the vertical lift bridge, with lines that maintain detail and visibility. The written name has a style effect applied to it, creating depth and flow in the direction of the river.
